Dr. Darshan Sonawane

Dr. Darshan Sonawane passed his M.B.B.S from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Pune in 2005. He then completed his M.S. Orthopaedics from Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Pune in 2010. He also passed D.N.B. Orthopaedics in 2010. He also did M.Ch. Orthopaedics in 2013. He then completed a Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery under Dr Wakankar at DMH in 2014. He then went on to completer a fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA in 2014-2015. He has extensive experience and is well acquainted in all the recent advances in the fields of Joint Replacement, Foot & Ankle Surgery,Traumatology, Sports Medicine, Arthritis, and Spine problems. He has vast experience in the Operative as well as Non-Operative management of various Orthopaedic disorders. He has presented many papers in state as well as national conferences. He also has national as well as international publications to his credit. He is an active member of the Poona Orthopaedic Society, the Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association, Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Foot and Ankle Society and the Indian Arthroscopy society.
